We have fresh produce for sale from our very own Grown Farm along with bags of mushroom coffee from our friends at Mushlove. \n\n\n\nThis Sunday’s mini market stall holders include: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLunaFlow  \n\n\n\nLunaFlow sea glass jewellery is created in the beautiful town of Newquay. Sea glass is shaped and smoothed by rocks\, sand\, and sea for decades until it washes up on the shore as a unique treasure. I find these gems on beaches around Cornwall and polish\, wire wrap\, and drill them with care in my little workshop in Nansledan. \n\n\n\nI’m passionate about the environment and I’m committed to preserving the beauty of our coastlines. I use found and recycled materials wherever possible\, and all packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable. \n\n\n\nEach piece is carefully crafted by hand\, making them one of a kind and truly special. By wearing LunaFlow jewellery\, you can take a small piece of Cornwall with you wherever you go.  \n\n\n\nGrace’s Art Shed \n\n\n\nMy name is Grace\, I am a local Cornish artist\, who is also visually impaired. I make digital art and watercolour paintings in my sketchbook from my very cozy little art shed in the garden. So it is unsurprising that the food we eat and the way we produce it is responsible for a huge part of our carbon emissions. \n\n\n\nCornwall Climate Care‘s Hungry for Change\, the latest episode in the Cornwall’s Climate Stories series\, looks at our reliance on this intensive\, hyper-globalised\, fossil fuel-driven food system – which is itself becoming more and more vulnerable to climate shocks. \n\n\n\nThe film is presented by forager Josh Quick\, who asks whether there are ways of producing more of our food locally and in more imaginative but less damaging ways. It takes a fascinating and inspiring look at a whole range of stories\, from the gleaners picking ‘waste’ crops in our fields to projects growing food in unusual places and a microbiologist keen to get us all eating low-carbon insects. \n\n\n\nFood for Thought\n\n\n\nShould we all be giving up meat and dairy if we’re to have a hope of avoiding dangerous climate breakdown? \n\n\n\nThis is what the headlines seem to tell us. We cover a wide range of songs\, including simple rounds or part songs unaccompanied\, plus some contemporary arrangements with backing tracks. A lovely space to de-stress. Open to all\, no experience required! £6 per session (£4.50 for members of Newquay Orchard\, or £3 for staff & volunteers).
