Creative Writing Workshops with Lucy Beckley

Whether you are new to writing or have some experience, these three fun and engaging sessions will help kindle your creativity and support you to develop a writing practice. The workshops will cover how to find cloud gaps in your everyday life and how to look for inspiration through a series of gentle and playful creative writing exercises.

About your host

Lucy Beckley is a writer, poet and marketing consultant. Her writing and poetry has appeared in numerous independent magazines and books including Popshot Magazine, Strike Magazine, The Lit Platform, The Mum Poem Press, the southwester, 26 Places in Cornwall and Lionheart Magazine. She was shortlisted in the Renard Press New Beginnings Competition in 2021 and is currently working on her first book. As co-host of Calliope’s Writers, an online community for mothers who write, she regularly runs workshops and holds space for mothers to write. She has an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Creative Writing from Cambridge University.
