John’s Story

My hobbies? I enjoy fishing and taking the dog out!

I first joined Newquay Orchard in 2016, I think. I can’t remember, it was so long ago!

When I first joined, I was just getting over a major operation: a heart bypass. I had four arteries put in. It made meeting people hard. All the guys here have been very good to me.

The other week a volunteer came in and I heard them say they needed to sort their reading out but thought they were too old. I said no you’re not, I’m doing it! I gave
