Wellness Fayre

Attendees to the Newquay Orchard Winter Wellness Fayre took part in fully booked workshops to help reduce stress and learn new techniques to introduce into their wellness routines.

The workshops were free, affordable or donation based to make them as accessible as possible to everyone. Singing, dancing, yoga, massage, herbal remedies and sound healing were some of the activities hosted on the Saturday afternoon.

Tim Hunt, Memberships Coordinator at Newquay Orchard, organised the day to give practitioners on the Community Led Local Development (CLLD) scheme the chance to showcase their classes and workshops. He said: “What is so great about the Taking Root and Branching Out CLLD business support courses we give here at Newquay Orchard is that we can share our community building with these business owners too.” “The Winter Wellness Fayre was a great chance for people to make new friends whilst giving practitioners the chance to expand their client bases. I think people we’re grateful of the accessible price points which meant everyone could join in on the day too,” Tim added.

Newquay Orchard would like to thank all of the practitioners who shared their skills during the day.

People can find some of our practitioners at our events page should they wish to weave this self-care into their lifestyles.
